This project will monitor how seagrass is faring across the Gippsland Lakes.
This project:
- Maps and monitors seagrass extent and distribution across the Gippsland Lakes Ramsar Site each year.
- Collects long term data to understand trends in seagrass distribution over time.
- Assesses results against the limit of acceptable change outlined in the Gippsland Lakes Ecological Character Description.
