About the project
This project delivers monitoring of threatened frog species within the Gippsland Lakes Ramsar Site.
Green and Golden Bell frogs and Growling Grass frogs are two nationally threatened EPBC listed species found within fringing freshwater wetlands of the Gippsland Lakes Ramsar site.
This project:
- Conducts targeted surveys of the threatened frog populations using the Gippsland Lakes Frog Monitoring Framework.
- Assesses the Limits of Acceptable Change for frog distribution and breeding events.
