About the project
This project will trial ways to restore the Lakes’ once widespread seagrass meadows and aims to:
- Develop and trial methods of restoring and rehabilitating the Lakes’ seagrass within Jones Bay and Bunga Arm.
- Monitor plots and evaluate each method.
This scientifically supported seagrass restoration trial will increase the success of future works to restore areas of seagrass meadows in the Gippsland Lakes.
